Eyes Save Lives!

What a great way to kick off the new year with an amazing turn out to our Bejuco New Years Eve Party in Costa del Sol where we sponsored a fundraiser to collect money for the Playa Bejuco Lifeguard program.  We are very excited to announce that the generous spirit of all who attended the party filled our donation bucket up to a Grande amount of. . .

$1040.00 !!!

This amount will get us off to a great start by providing the uniforms and the equipment required for
the four lifeguards to attend the training program and pay for their pre-purchased  meals needed for camp.   There is no fee for the training since this is the first time this particular program is being offered in Costa Rica.  It is a great opportunity that will give us more fully trained lifeguards.  The Training/Boot Camp begins January 14, will go through the 24th and will be held at the Coast Guard Academy in Quepos.

What an amazing community we have!  

We would like to express our sincere thanks to each and everyone of you that contributed to this new program that will make our beaches safer for all swimmers and surfers while also providing jobs to 4 locals that are eager to improve their lives while also serving community.
